Finding Joy and Focus Through Photography
It’s the 2nd anniversary since I uploaded my first photo on Unsplash. So much has happened since then—more than 50K impressions and almost 500 downloads.
My main job is not related to photography, but when you pursue a hobby and see it growing, it brings a different kind of happiness.
As someone said, Nothing goes to waste; photography has taught me many new things.
The most important lesson I’ve learned from photography is “focus”.
In a time when we’ve become digital slaves with attention spans of less than 40 seconds, focusing on what is important is a brutal aspect of photography, life and work.
Photography teaches you to declutter, look deeply, and work from different angles for better outcomes.
For me, this perspective and learning are invaluable.
Photography is a very common hobby, and with smartphones equipped with high-capacity cameras, almost all of us are photographers.
So, why not learn this art a little and pursue it seriously?
Unsplash is a great platform where you can share your work with millions of people who can use it professionally. The satisfaction this brings is priceless, often more fulfilling than money.
Give it a try.
