The first time I won an award was in school, I was just 4 years old.
I stood on a stool, singing “Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon, Desh Ka Sipahi Hoon” in front of the entire school assembly.
It’s one of my earliest memories and a moment that’s deeply carved into my mind.
Maybe that’s why I’ve always felt a deep connection to patriotic songs, independence stories, and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
They are the reason we breathe free today.
Their courage and determination gifted us the freedom to think, speak, and live as we choose.
This freedom wasn’t always there.
For our grandparents, and their grandparents, it was a different reality—one of struggle and sacrifice.
As we celebrate India’s Independence Day, let’s take a moment to honor those who fought for the freedom we often take for granted.
Their legacy lives on in every free breath we take.
Jai Hind!
