Saying Goodbye to My First Car 🚗 An Emotional 💔 Farewell
There’s something incredibly special about your first anything—first job, first home, and for me, my first car.
I never wanted to ride a bike; I was always afraid of accidents. But cars? They felt safer and more manageable. So, I learned quickly, and soon enough, I bought my first car—an i10. It was a moment of immense pride and joy. I was the youngest in my family to own a four-wheeler, a significant feat at that time.
Life moved swiftly from there, and today, I’m fortunate to have some of the best vehicles in the world. Yet, no matter what you achieve, the first remains irreplaceable. Nothing can ever take its place.
You will be missed, my first car.
We had to scrap it due to the NGT law requiring diesel vehicles to be scrapped after 15 years. This small piece of aluminium, a part of the chassis, was delivered to my doorstep after the scrapping. Holding it now, it’s a wave of emotions, remembering all the journeys, milestones, and memories.
This car wasn’t just a mode of transport. It symbolized my dreams, my early career achievements, and my transition from uncertainty to success. Coming from a background where my future seemed dark and uncertain, owning my first car was the brightest moment, unmatched by any other.
I’m grateful for the experiences and the lessons it brought, and I stand in support of sustainability and environmental initiatives by our government. It’s a small step towards a better future, even though it’s an emotional one.
Here’s to the firsts in our lives—they shape us, teach us, and remain in our hearts forever.
