History has shown time and again that humans reject slavery in all its forms.
Whether it was the fight against racial oppression, caste discrimination, bureaucratic control, or even in our workplaces and homes—sooner or later, people rise up to claim their freedom.
Here’s the hard truth:
➡️ Self-Centric Choices:
Often, in doing what we think is best for ourselves, we harm others. Our decisions can inadvertently promote a kind of slavery, binding others in ways we might not realize.
➡️ Negative Cycles:
When our actions are solely self-serving, they can degrade the very fabric of society, fostering resentment and division instead of cooperation.
What should we strive for instead?
Trust and Friendship: Humanity thrives when connections are built on mutual respect and genuine care, not coercion or control.
We need to foster environments where friendship and trust are the foundations of our relationships—be it at work, in governance, or within our families.
Let’s focus on creating circles of trust, not cycles of subjugation.
