Patience is the best policy
Honesty is one, but the same goes for patience.
However, patience is very rare these days.
Patience brings you peace, peace brings you environment, environment brings you to focus, focus brings you flow and flow brings you ultimate satisfaction.
So tell me now, isn’t patience the best policy to have for your life?
But why this is so rare despite it being so rich?
According to my experience:
1. We want to run too fast because
2. We want to win all the races because
3. We want to show off because
4. We are bitten by the beetle of significance because
5. We want to prove to the world our existence because
6. We are humans
Science quotes that Dopamine is the chemical that helps us survive through challenging times like hunting for food or getting hunted when we were early men, this is the survival instinct.
This chemical within us still works for us but in the wrong way.
And this continuous dopamine steals our patience.
We are over utilising the stimulation and have become impatient.
We are in a rush that we always think we are losing so many things that other people are doing and we are not.
Information and availability are abundant on the internet and data.
All these have made us live a life where we are being driven by what others are doing and not what we want to do.
The accessibility of Tech has put the last nail in the coffin. We have become cyber zombies who are glued to our phones, TVs and pieces of information that are not necessarily important to consume.
Social media keeps our dopamine consistently high and this brings our mentality to an “always-impatience” state.
What’s the cure?
Well,
Disconnecting from the cyber world and connecting yourself internally is the only way.
The more you will go inside and not outside, the more you will experience the potential of your brain and body.
This human race can do a lot of innovations and growth when provided with all the techs available right now.
But the way we are utilising all these is truly a disaster.
Can I ask you a question?
How can we strike a balance between embracing technology and cultivating patience in our lives?
